To keep in mind:

This year's project timeline is available here, and we can expect a similar one for 2023, so we would be looking into submitting a mentor organisation application around February 2023.

Requirements we need to meet before then:

Eligibility. To participate in the Program, an Organization must:

• run an active and viable open source software project;
• have already produced and released software under an Open Source Initiative (OSI)-approved license;
• not be based in a United States embargoed country, or otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs.

Benefits to GSF:

• More contributors joining in, in the long run grow GSF community and awareness
• 500 USD per GSoC Contributor mentored by GSF
