Motion

Approve the Lifecycle Stage Change Request Incubation > Archived for the Open Source Working Group's Carbon-ci Pipeline.

Context

The Work Group Chairs are the 'Approving body' for Software Projects progressing from Incubation > Archived.

This is the Approval Process from the Software Project Lifecycle Documentation Project Lead(s) submit an issue to this repo. Working Group Chairs approve via consensus.

A project moves to Archived when the Project team notifies the GSF PM they can no longer commit to maintaining the project. I, the GSF PM for Carbon-ci Pipeline am submitting this issue on behalf of the Project Lead @FergusKidd.

The Carbon-ci Pipeline project has no other contributors, who could take over running the project. The Carbon-ci Pipeline project was launched before the Impact Framework project. It now makes sense to merge the scope of the Carbon-ci Pipeline project into the Impact Framework project, as the framework will provide the solution to the pipeline's aim.
