Joint Blog with BCG X for BCG Multiplier

What: A joint blog about GSF’s Software Carbon Intensity (SCI) Specification Project on BCG X’s The Multiplier, with Asim, Arun, and Matt as co-authors. Why: During our Exec Connect call, we discussed doing more collaborative work with BCG X and leveraging BCG's channels to raise awareness about the SCI Specification to boost awareness and engagement internally with the GSF.

Audience: Tech practitioners (data scientist, engineers, etc.).

Order of Operations

• [ ] Asim to give steer on article's focus and key messages
• [ ] Share rough outline to guide next steps (what the article can/should cover)
• [ ] Schedule initial kickoff meeting:

Participants: Asim, Arun, Matthew, and project coordinators. Agenda: Discuss the blog’s objectives, key messages, and deadlines.

• [ ] Draft an outline for collective review
• [ ] Draft version 1.0 for SWG review
• [ ] Share version 1.1 with BCG for review
• [ ] Draft version 1.2 for BCG editorial review and feedback
• [ ] Submit version 1.3 to BCG X’s The Multiplier
• [ ] Coordinate the promotion of the blog on various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, newsletters).

Anticipated Timeline Overview

Week 1: Kickoff meeting and draft outline. Week 2: Initial drafting and data collection. Week 3: First draft review and revisions. Week 4-5: Independent reviews by GSF and BCG. Week 6: Final review, approval, and submission.
