Antitrust Policy

Linux Foundation meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws.

Examples of types of actions that are prohibited at Linux Foundation meetings and in connection with Linux Foundation activities are described in the Linux Foundation Antitrust Policy available at http://www.linuxfoundation.org/antitrust-policy. If you have questions about these matters, please contact your company counsel, or if you are a member of the Linux Foundation, feel free to contact Andrew Updegrove of the firm of Gesmer Updegrove LLP, which provides legal counsel to the Linux Foundation.

@corradio I've just reviewed the presentation and really like the clarity with which the case is made and thank you so much for investigating and articulating the methodological inconsistency. Not sure what the outcome from the previous meeting was (cc @Henry-WattTime ) but do we have a plan to incorporate these changes in the SCI? cc @jawache

I suggest we put together a clear recommendation for this group which would represent the fastest route towards regaining consistency while not being prohibitively restrictive so we don't hinder adoption of the SCI.

Hi All,

I wanted to follow up on the discussion we had in this session of the WG and provide some clarity on the next steps we envision to further the discussion around the SCI. Feel free to provide your thoughts or feedback on this.

• Organise a discussion with an LCA expert to consult the WG on best practices and provide us the necessary knowledge to develop a scientifically sound and impactful SCI.
• Develop a recommendation/suggestion for the SCI Specification
• Open a pull request to provide our suggestion to the WG, such that WG members can provide feedback.
