MoM Pindy opens the meeting at 1600 BST Miroboard review

Framework for software development project, including personas and stakeholders. Pindy updated the project framework by adding a new pillar and questions based on the steering committee meeting. Pindy also outlined the framework for project delivery, including key outputs and targets. Sean O and an unknown speaker discussed the importance of personas in the design process, with Sean highlighting the value of circularity and continuous improvement. Pindy and Parul brainstormed ways to organize and prioritize the workshop's key topics, focusing on Sean’s diagrams and matrix.

Organizational framework for software development. Sean O has presented a framework for understanding the overall process and structure of the GSF. This includes various approaches and identifying gaps in information. The group emphasized the importance of comprehending the organization's role within this framework and how it can guide their work. Pindy and others discussed how to organize questions and tasks for a project, using colour-coded stickers and charts to keep track.

Software development, procurement, and data management. Sean O and Parul discussed vendor software for data collection and validation. Pindy and Parul discussed using a circular model to track software development and operations data.

Sustainability metrics and dashboards for IT industry. Participants discussed challenges in measuring and tracking Sustainable Development Impact (SDI) across various organizational levels. The industry requires standardized dashboards for measuring sustainability progress. Sean and others discussed potential issues with aggregating emission levels.

Sustainable software development practices and patterns. Identify areas for improvement based on data insights. Sean O discusses the importance of patterns in software development, including when to bring them into the development lifecycle. Engineers discuss green software development lifecycle steps and implementation challenges.

Workshop. Sean and Pindy discuss prioritising projects and focusing efforts. Sean and Pindy discuss preparing for a workshop on personas, including creating a framework and providing clear instructions for attendees.
