After Meeting

[Issues]

Context: System was working for 3 months before motor broke down

  1. Diaphragm of motor is broken (pump still has sound but not pumping water)
  2. Top 2 LED Strips broken
  3. Right cabinet Hinge has loosened (2 hinges)
  4. No back access to reservoir
  5. Corner rusting (can use corner block to rectify issue - see neofarm)
  6. Roof denting due to separate acrylic pieces (can use a single acrylic piece or aluminium profile to support the Center)

[Deliverables]

  1. Ask Alicia to add us into WhatsApp group with the participants
  2. Electronics: Dissect and improve RPi code
  3. Electronics: Test motor and flow meter (other IoT components)
  4. Hardware: Modify CAD design
    • Need more spacing for plants at the side (6 towers -> 3 towers)
    • Sprinkler system at the top and dispersal
  5. Hardware: Switch to smaller screws for magnet mechanism
  6. Hardware: Source for stainless steel screws
  7. Hardware: Update BOM list
