$10k in Regen tokens

Challenge Description

Regen Network is a Cosmos SDK based network that offers a platform to verify, mint, buy and sell tokenized carbon credits in an open marketplace for climate solutions. At its core, the network is built around ensuring stewardship of the planet from a first-principles approach of a fair and decentralized medium to provide provably verifiable carbon credits and facilitate liquidity to this growing market.

Climate change and the responsible stewardship of it is a hot topic that even has garnered the famous $100 million dollar climate change prize from Elon Musk. We have the tools and technology. Now it’s up to you to piece them together and build them up.

Regen is on its path to mainnet launch and this bounty will be to provide a detailed specification of using Regen technology to create a way of integrated tokenized carbon credits to support meaningful and impactful ecological stewardship with NFTs. Here are some examples that you may use to create your specification (or get coding) but are not limited to:

Submission Requirements

Submit your research and outlines on current projects or solutions you’ve identified for this bounty via a text submission under this Github Issue.

Styling with markdown is supported in Github Issues. If you would like to submit a non-code based specification via PDF, you can do so by dragging your PDF into the text editor area. More resources on attaching files can be found here.

Judging Criteria

Portions of the bounty will be awarded to teams and individual contributors based on the discretion of a panel of judges with Regen who will be selected based on their contributions and good standing within the NFT community.

this is for regen tokens and not ether, which is not directly integrated into the Gitcoin platform which why the bot had an automated reply of $OTHER tokens

Building something using the Iris Net NFT module 2) viraja1 has started work.

Mint file based NFTs using IRISnet and IPFS 3) mikehroth has started work.

A proposal that outlines the potential integration of the FungyProof application and API with Regen Network for the purpose of enabling end-users to purchase carbon offsets for their NFTs. 4) bdev07 has started work.

Green Deeds will integrate IRISnet NFTs backed with eco-credits for our badge reward feature. 5) ybz216 has started work.

TKOS 6) gmanjflow has started work.

An incentivised, transparent and verifiable method for planting, maintaining and sharing the knowledge of Trees. Geo-tagging and video verification of the tree will be done for transparency. Each Tree will be an NFT. The amount raised from selling NFT will be given to the person planting the tree and adding the tree as NFT with proofs. Do check our pdf for our full solution :) 7) jennifertrin has started work.

This proposal outlines how the Regen Network can incentivize miners for data transparency and sustainable practices, and as a result, help NFT creators make more informed decisions on blockchains that they utilize. 8) pmhieu111 has started work.

@mangorocoro Yes it is a new technique to inject an organic substrate containing a mix of bacteria and yeast able to reactivate soil which has been greatly damaged by intensive farming. In the submission it asks me for a OTHER wallet, is it a Ethereum wallet? Thank you

Yes as each batch of soil produced will contain a specific set of bacteria and yeast. By spectrophotography we can identify the microbiome and create a NFT that will testify the source of the soil and allow for scientific evaluation of results depending on the microbiome and the destination environment/crop type.

The reason it is listed as OTHER is that it would need to be a Regen Network address. For the winners, we will directly contact to receive award. But if you'd like to get a head start on it, you can download the keplr wallet and get it integrated for Regen. Here is a great guide to reference:
