What is the texture you would like added?
Gutter block
Should this texture be based on an existing block? If so, what block?
Not based off an existing block, but an example of a block that is similar to what I think needs implemented is the wall version of the soul torch. If that block did not give off light, and if it went from ceiling to floor, it would work well as a black gutter.
Provide an image reference of the material/texture being used in real life. (More than one, if possible)this (Not copper of course)

The material would probably work best as either a white or gray color. And this would definitely need to be a wall peaceable block- that way, it can be directional on different surfaces.
