Show Big RGB items (ItemLevel <= 67) doesn't work (only with alt) #11

I have only tested this in the filterblast preview, so maybe that's bugged. Default settings (endgame) + Show Big RGB items (ItemLevel <= 67), but no RGB Armours were shown without pressing alt.

Thanks for making this filter :)

It works just as intended. Please note that I only allow seeing "big" RGB items outside of maps (ItemLevel <= 67). The preview window on Filterblast also shows these items, so long as the level area is set below the 68 threshold.

I treat any item that uses more than 4 slots a big item and not worth picking up in maps. However you can still see these when you press the alt key. You can do that when you kill a boss, clear a breach or perhaps a harbinger kill.

If you really want to see all these items (including 2 hand items) feel free to open the filter in notepad, search for "Big RGB items (ItemLevel <= 67)" and remove the itemlevel restriction below the "SocketGroup RGB" line.

My question to you is why would you want to see these items at all when mapping? Are small rgb items not enough?

tquensen commented 7 years ago

I usually pick them up even in maps, so an option to show them would be great. (As there is for rares)

You still get to see small rgb items. I have thought about adding this option in maps but honestly think it's a bad idea. On average how many portals you use per map?

tquensen commented 7 years ago

I usually portal back 1 or 2 additional times. I also pick up scrolls and identify and throw away most rares. It's probably not the most optimal way in terms of efficiency but I like to play this way :) Also, I think ignoring large RGB items when they drop is less of an "annoyance" than having to press alt to pick them up, so having this option (even if not active as default) should be beneficial in general. I previously used the NeverSink loot filter and those Items are visible there in the "regular" settings.

Fine I'll try to add a switch somewhere to enable this functionality in the next patch. I think It will be tied to the leveling filter or somewhere separate. I still think this is not a good idea, but you are probably not the only user who wants that.

For now just remove the line mentioned in my initial reply. I would also suggest you to try something different. You may grow to like it. Try to only use 1 portal per map. This will save you a lot of time and you'll most likely get better results overall and have more fun.

Thanks for the feedback.
