RMT Timer Broken #122

Open ProlapsedPete opened 6 months ago

Describe the bug Whenever my friends and I start an RMT session, the map will switch, and the in-game timer begins counting down from 3 to 0 and the RMT Timer begins counting down from 60:00, then the map acts like it is switching again but it just restarts. Once the map restarts, the in-game timer is set to 60:00 as it should have been the first time, but the RMT timer does not reset and is constantly ticking down for the entire duration of the map resetting. This only began happening after the 20th Anniversary update. Is this something just my friends and I are experiencing? or is this a common issue?

I have tried recreating the room, deleting all my files, redownloading openplanet, reinstalling Trackmania and restarting the scripts, but nothing seems to work.

This is our favorite gamemode to play together whenever we have more than 3 people online and would love if there is a solution. I mentioned it on the OP discord as well (name is FlaccidFather), but I didn't get a response, nor did I see any solutions.

Anyways, I appreciate all you do, along with the entire Openplanet community and if this is something that simply cannot be fixed right now, I understand. I just want to at least confirm that's the case rather than it being something on our end that we are doing wrong.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Follow up. I don't know 100% if this is what fixed it, but I installed the Better Room Manager plug-in by Xertrov and suddenly it's working. Just wanted to add this in case anyone else experienced this problem. Also, ensure the room time limit is always set to 0 each time you re-enter the room. For whatever reason, the plugin will occasionally set the timer to 1 again randomly but I am not sure why. Could be something on my end.
