Cosmic Tier Circuit and UHV+ Power

A qbit Computer consume 1 UV EU and 1 UHV Circuit to produce 1 qbit in The Optical Fiber network The Optical Fiber can support up to 16x qbit Computer A qbit Generator can convert 1 qbit to 1UHV EU A qbit Generator can provide up to 16UHV

Cosmic dust can be Collect into a Cosmic Collector @slow rate or can be crafted by mixing Neutronium + Mendelevium + Cosmic ingot can be smelt into a blast furnace in a new Coil Tier

UEV Casing use Cosmic Ingot and new plastic chemical New Cosmic circuit

Can you elaborate how this would work? Would a qbit be an item or some sort of data structure? Then this 1 qbit becomes 1 amp UHV? Isn't that a little too much free energy? And expensive in terms of circuits?

hjae78 commented 4 years ago

Also is this what you meant by the quantum computer?

hjae78 commented 4 years ago

Also maybe MK IV fusion for this tier? Either taking cosmic components or making a material used for cosmic.

I am not sure if I like this, it seems very simple and straightforward. Sure, I love the idea of adding UHV but this is not complex.

I'd love to hear any ideas you have about it. This hasn't been started on at all so plenty of time to brainstorm

I have an idea to make something similar that makes a little more sense

Using some sort of complicated transformer multiblock Something that needs to be built with superconductors, requiring liquid helium or liquid nitrogen to operate. Maybe even have the body of the multiblock filled with some type of oil or other insulation to avoid arcs. If you want the "three lines go into one" you can keep basically the same layout for the UV -> UHV process, just replace the three Qbits with three different phases of alternating current https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-phase_electric_power IRL to know everything about a power system you need the operating Voltages, Currents, Frequencies, and Phases. If you know that two wires are kept at the same voltage and frequency but forget that they have different phases and you connect them you will short the power lines. In game this could lead to a transformer explosion.

I'm working on a complex tokamak Anyway, a tokamak is essentially made of 5 main systems:

Magnets Vacuum Vessel Blanket Divertor Cryostat

I'll come up with recipes to manufacture blocks for all of these (the magnets could probably use existing coils) and a multiblock structure that tries to replicate the real thing Zalgo10/14/2020 Vacuum Vessel Blocks: Made mainly from stainless steel, they form the main body vacuum chamber and provide structural support for the blanket, coolant passes trough channels inside them, removing the heat generated by the reaction

Blanket Blocks: They form the lining of the inner walls of the vacuum chamber and face the plasma directly, they are made from very pure beryllium metal mounted on a high strenght copper and stainless steel alloy, they have a variety called "Tritium Breeding Blanket Blocks", those are almost identical but have some Li-6 alloyed with the Beryllium, this allows the reactor to use the highly energetic D-T fusion reaction to produce a lot of energy without needing an external source of Tritium, however they contaminate the plasma so having those mounted means that the reactor can only perform the D-T fusion

Divertor Blocks Made from Tungstensteel alloys, as well as pure Tungsten these are placed at the bottom of the vacuum vessel, they remove the fusion products, keeping plasma contamination low, they also contain sensors to monitor the conditions inside the reactor and have tungsten targets which get bombarded by hot plasma, these targets are cooled by coolant and contribute significantly to the power output of the reactor

Cryostat Blocks: Made from frost resistant stainless steel, they form the cryostat and provide the extreme cooling needed for the superconducting electromagnets (made of superconducting and fusion coils) to work

All of these blocks have different tiers, increasing the tiers of the components has different effects:

Better Coils -> Denser plasma, allows the reactor to reach higher temperatures and unlocks higher end recipes, also makes lower end recipes faster

Better Vacuum Vessel -> Increased coolant efficiency, now the reactor needs more coolant, but also makes more steam

Better Divertor Blocks -> Increased Fuel Efficiency, more useful fusion products are extracted ‎ Better Cryostat Blocks -> Required to upgrade the coils and vacuum vessel, not upgrading these will result in the reactor getting damaged ‎
