@egparedes I incorporated your suggestions after your last review in a1fde90cc976b854b1b753f611a6e0b561dc1796. This PR is based on the https://github.com/GridTools/gtc/pull/69 branch so we need to merge that one first in order to see only the relevant commits of this PR.
