I have installed the eve online game on the asus (https://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Installing_EVE_on_Linux), it works flawlessly on my home desktop which is running Ubuntu 16.04. As explained in my other thread the game causes the PC to freeze but it looks like throttling back the cpu reduces the frequency of/stops the freezes. The game works ok but now my current issue is the following, when i launch the game, it crashes the sound. What i did was:
1/ play a song with rythmbox
2/ launch the game (not the launcher but the game itself, you need to have an account for that but its free to create one)
what happens then is that all sound disappears (even the song that was playing).
