What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the emulator by executing ./startemu <emulator_name>
2. Once booting is over, run /path-to/android-sdk/tools/uiautomatorviewer
3. Click Fetch button on uiautomatorviewer
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: Uiautomatorviewer should show the Activity and the Hierarchy of the
activity components.
What you see: Error obtaining UI hierarchy
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Droidbox 4.1.1RC, Ubuntu 12.04
