Bug Title: Widget Freeze After 5 Minutes on Nova Launcher

Bug Description: After launching the Calyx Calculator widget on Nova Launcher, the widget behaves as expected initially. The widget launches successfully, and the UI renders correctly. Currency conversion fetch and arithmetic calculations perform without any issues. However, after approximately 5 minutes of usage, the widget freezes, rendering it unresponsive to user interactions.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Install Nova Launcher on the device.
2. Add the Calyx Calculator widget to the home screen.
3. Launch the Calyx Calculator widget.
4. Perform currency conversion fetch and arithmetic calculations within the widget.
5. Leave the widget idle for approximately 5 minutes.

Expected Behavior:

• The Calyx Calculator widget should remain responsive and functional even after 5 minutes of idle time on Nova Launcher.

Actual Behavior:

• After approximately 5 minutes of idle time on Nova Launcher, the Calyx Calculator widget freezes, becoming unresponsive to user interactions.
