minecraft crashes when i use the mod #405

i press play and it doesnt even start up it crashes

A couple of things that might be easy fixes: 2 Gb RAM or more assigned in the Tekkit or Minecraft launcher? An ID conflict? I've had the ID conflict problem before with Hexxit 2.0 while I played on LAN or online. They auto-generate IDs so conflicts occur when you connect to another installation with a different set of generated IDs, i.e. any other installation.
