174 requires an alkali product to dutch the coco powder. There's two alkali that seem most accessible to the Growthcraft "technology level" - Lye and Lime/quicklime.
Lye (which is used in other cooking processes, such as certain kinds of breads) is created by soaking hardwood ashes and then filtering them. The steps to create would be
Burn wood to create ashes (we could substitute charcoal, other mods have ashes as well - such as Biomes O Plenty)
Cook ashes in vat with water
take cooked ashes out of vat with cheese cloth
drain cheese cloth, capturing Lye that drips out (not sure what to do with the drained ashes at this point - turn them into bonemeal?)
Quicklime or slaked lime is not normally used in food processes I think? Slaked lime is used as a mortar component.
Likewise, we will need a new dutching block to combine the alkali and the coco powder.
Not a big deal though, and it will make making chocolate more interesting.
