You forgot to write down the herb journal we talked about yesterday.
I have to write down how the journal works, which plants there will be, how thistle can be grown more safely in the herb garden and how plant harvesting in the wild works
One rule I want to add that we discussed on IRC is this: everything before you brew it into a potion is the same every game, the potion effects is what differs. So a plant looks and is named the same each time, it's just changes potion effect.
Preliminary idea, I'll add textures and such later
Herbs
World gen generates herbs These herbs can be used as potion ingredients The effect of each herb is randomized to world seed The potion you brew just says "mysterious potion" The only way to find out what the herb you found does, is to drink the potion and experiment Once you drink the potion, the effects of the herb are added to a herbology journal, and the next time, the potion will have proper tooltip and name
Hill Culture Herb Garden
You can create blocks of compost Compost turns three blocks of grass around it into blocks of culture (or cultured soil?) Culture is a grass-looking block that you can grow herbs upon Culture will grow flowers and tall grass if there's no herbs on top
