Request: Roman Numerals for Months? #5

Open bobcat-hubcap opened 2 years ago

bobcat-hubcap commented 2 years ago

I have always used Roman numerals for months. e.g. today 8.VI.2022. This has the advantage of making it easy to distinguish June 8 from August 6 - 8.6.2022 vs. 6.8.2022. Different places reverse the order (e.g. Europe|United States). Any chance using Roman numerals for months could be added to the options?

Many thanks.

Best,

Richard

Hi,

I'm afraid this is not easily possible at the moment. The plugin is not doing the pattern matching itself, but is using the moment.js library which is shipped with the Obsidian installation by default. And roman numerals are unfortunately currently not included in the formatting options of the library. You can find here a full set of formatting options that are supported
