Include files in 'external' folder (outside workspace) in search? #626

I'm using the vscode-journal extension, and I'm storing my journal files outside the project workspace (example: ${homeDir}/Journal)

Is there an easy way to include files stored in workspace-external folders with those of the current workspace?
