When manipulating the list of http repositories to refer only to locations
in the intranet, it works.
Update: I am not sure anymore, if this is really a bug. When having just
one http repository referring to the internet, it takes some time, but at
the end it works.
Maybe, if there is a number of repositories in the “MCRepositoryGroup
default”, the timeouts accumulate, so that it seemed, it stalled (I waited
for min. 20 minutes).
My latest test showed, when opening an inaccessible http repository, after
about 4 min, an empty repository browser is opened. At first I had 7 http
repositories: so 4*7=28min timeout.
