Before posting

  1. Is your browser up-to-date ?
  2. Is your script up-to-date (see installation procedure) ?
  3. Have you tried restarting your web browser ?

Issue information

Greasemonkey is installed and enabled.

You click on the *.js file, it opens a new page displaying the script, and that is all.

To circumvent the automatic install fail, I created a new script in which I copy pasted Arte-7-Downloader's script. Tried to watch Arte, here's the outcome: screen shot 2018-01-11 at 10 31 19 pm

Hello er-cpp, i tried what you said (created new script with greasemonkey and copypaste the .js file) but the script didn't show up like your screenshot. Needless to say the downloader functionality didn't return. Did I miss a step?

Hello,

I don't know what step yous missed in trying to replicate the experiment. There is nothing unusual about the drop-down menu showing Arte+7 Downloader (screenshot)s, you're the one having a problem in this respect. Remember, creating the script manually was an attempt to circumvent the fact that loading the page with the script (*.js) does not install the script. I tried both ways again, same outcome, that is, the script is unresponsive when I load arte.tv/de from the US
