Hi, The night mode issues look a bit like a theme issue to me. I will try investigating it further, but if you could try changing your desktop theme for Qt/KDE this might be the root of the issue. And if it is, I'm not sure if I can override the theme settings. But again, I'll investigate.
Another option will be to let the user define its own stylesheet for night mode (which is currently applied as a stylesheet).
For the second issue, I'm not sure I understand your problem: the ROI just changes the camera setting, so it shouldn't really have much to do with the UI. I guess you just mean that it's difficult to understand when the borders are (regardless of the ROI)?
If this is the case, I will probably implement something a bit different from your proposed solution, but that will probably will be very helpful anyway: an overlay grid. Sounds ok?
Thanks, Marco
Hi Marco, I'll look into the theme thing. Try to find a solution there. Second issue: you are right. I have difficulties with the borders ROI or full image. Grid would be very helpful!
Thanks, Regards, Jos.
Hi Marco, Trying other themes did not change anything. I'm using Gnome, not KDE. Here is a screen shot. Regards, Jos
I have no problem with the tabs (using debian testing with cinnamon). But the background is too bright when image is cropped.
Hi, could you please make some changes to the night view?
One other request: If the ROI does not fill the preview area completely, it is difficult to judge whether my planet drifts out of the ROI (in nightview only). Could in this case the ROI be enclosed in (red) lines? That would only be necessary on the two sides where the ROI does not fill the preview window.
Thank you for this very nice program! Kind regards, Jos
