I have some bad news: the person who bough the domain ask us $400 to retrieve back the domain guake.org. I see no objection the current owner want to take in charge the domain, but I cannot accept any kind of compensation, financial or any sort of "discret ads" to his web site, in return, especially from someone who bought the domain without contacting the core team members.

I feel responsible for not having succesfully transfered the domain, all my attempt I did in the begining of this year failed, due to domain lock.

However, any kind of financial compensation to retrieve back guake.org is absolutely innacceptable. If you have any advise I welcome them.

I'll keep you updated with this subject.

I have registered guake-project.org I don't see what we can do if the guy is uncooperative.
