KDE Plasma : Stuck Full Screen #965

Open benyanke opened 7 years ago

benyanke commented 7 years ago

I'm running the Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS with KDE Plasma, and after making guake full screen once, it no longer goes back to half-height. Instead, it displays in non-full-screen mode (toolbar visible, etc), but at full height in the window. Now, I'm only able to go hidden and full screen, without going half-height.

Any ideas, logs to pull, or things to try?

same issue

sratch that, fixed : 2 minutes later : pressed f11 & could play with height again

I have this issue too, but I can get it back to normal size if I hide it when it's not fullscreen (record).

Is there any fixes for this, even hacky ones? I've now gone 100% kde, and this bug is killer...

aichingm commented 6 years ago

@benyanke and @dialvarezs how do you trigger this?

Show -> Fullscreen -> Hide -> Show -> Fullscreen?

dialvarezs commented 6 years ago

@aichingm Yes, that's it.

benyanke commented 6 years ago

@aichingm Same here as well.

@aichingm Same thing happens to me on Gnome 3.28.2 (Guake 3.2.1). I can 'fix' it the same way @dialvarezs described.

EDIT: This looks like a duplicate of #628.
