Best description of the bug can be seen in this gif i recorded https://puu.sh/w9uiu/8784b14bbd.gif

Im currently using Taylor's Algorithm, can provide any other details and i will test all other algorithm's in the morning to see if any of the others have the same affect.

Guichaguri commented 7 years ago

Taylor's Algorithm is kinda strange, in some computers it works, in some others it doesn't. It will end up being removed to be replaced by a better algorithm system anyway.

Just out of curiosity: can you send some specs of your computer? I'd really like to know what causes it

Go in third person with it, its hilarious. Humor aside, I almost deleted my mudpack because I thought everything got corrupted. Thanks for posting this!

While this doesn't directly relate to the title. I think the problem stem from the same issue. Using Taylor's algorithm on 1.12.2, the panorama background on the main menu would rotate rotate many times faster than usual

mendel3 commented 5 years ago

Taylor's algo caused this same issue for me, and caused torches to go crazy. Using a GTX 1070

kmirai88 commented 5 years ago

Taylor's algorithm causes me to go into flailing human and makes my camera do loop-de-loops. I am using a Radeon VII 16GB.

owenthewizard commented 5 years ago

Have this issue on a Huawei Matebook D 14" AMD (AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Radeon Vega 8, 8GB RAM). Linux [REDACTED] 5.0.13-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sun May 5 18:05:41 UTC 2019 x86_64 GNU/Linux

checkraisefold commented 5 years ago

This seems to be common with NVidia and radeon graphics cards. Running a GTX 1050 and having issues same as described here, and most of the people above use NVidia or radeon graphics cards

SullySadface commented 5 years ago

This issue still exists, surprising nobody. Taylor's also made me speedwalk into a void, which was cool

Dimentive commented 4 years ago

My friend was having the same issue.

Snivine commented 3 years ago

Can confirm on Intel Celeron N3060 HD Graphics 400
