A place to add some ideas about further automating the ESRs and creating better outputs.

  1. create a google sheet to collect metadata for datasets that can not be downloaded directly

Had an idea from Kim Hyde (NE). Take our Caribbean ESR indicator table that is currently in a google sheet and turn it into an indicator catalog similar to the NE region's (https://noaa-edab.github.io/catalog/index.html). Can do this by creating an issue template in Github and having everyone create an issue with the template for their indicators. The issues can then be directly compiled into the catalog.
