Though this would be somewhat of a partial redesign, I had what I thought was a
great idea -- use named Actions that could be used within Profiles, and could
also be clicked on to use immediately.
For instance, I tend to do the same things before I go to bed at night, or when
I wake up in the morning no matter what time, or when I go into a meeting no
matter what day or time I have the meeting set for, etc., etc. For example, I
could set up an "Meeting start" Action, and use that in my Profiles with times
associated. Then when I realize "wow, you know, I should leave my Alarm on but
at 50% during meetings" (or you release a new version that controls something
else I want for meetings), I could just change the "Meeting start" Action and
it would propagate in all the Profiles where I've given "Meeting start" a day
and time.
Also, if it had an "Execute immediately" long-press available for those named
Actions, it would become, essentially, two apps in one (you could eventually
add shortcuts or widgets to execute them with a single press). I could then
create a "Driving" action that turns on Bluetooth and GPS and turns off
wireless. I wouldn't know exactly when in a weekday I would use it (just any
time I'm driving), but it would be very handy to have a button to push that
sets everything properly for me being in the car.
