Unable to allow access and login to Humble (Ubuntu 22.04)

I mainly use firefox flatpak but have tried with snap and also chromium. I can open the link fine, and it loads. I can press Allow Access, and it opens the popup. I cannot seem to get further than this, previously it would just close the tab as soon as I pressed show more, but now it is getting to the point where I can choose the app to open it with.

Not sure if I'm doing something stupid here, but I cannot get past this point. Choosing Humble-scheme-handler.desktop just closes the tab out and nothing happens. I have tried using no addons, and going into private browser with the link too. Lutris is installed via flatpak now, and I just used the install script from the lutris site to install the Humble Games Collection.

I have a very similar issue on steam deck. When I click Allow access in chrome, a new blank browser window opens and nothing happens.

I had a similar issue, but I managed to fix it by using the Extended Support Release (ESR) Debian package of Firefox on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS. I hope this helps someone.
