This fixes winepath when hide wine exports are disabled Tbh I don't think upstream will like this part of code anyways

This seems to me a like a workaround which can be applied locally. The proper solution would be to fix this in all cases. Plus, fewer and fewer games even ship the SDK requiring the hiding of this export.
