Would add my vote to this request :-) This functions is required by many machine controller jobs like 3d printers. It would be great to set / read the counter and to generate an interrupt and maybe set some free output on hitting a preprogrammed position
Hi is it possibble make counter witch CPLD which will count impulse("position") from quadrature encoder and this information read by Raspberry? Frequency of pulsion is max 200kHz.
