manually added group covers get cashed in low resolution only

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. created a group "Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation" (using the folder way 
"Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation(Group)" )
2. placed the "Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation.jpg" thumbnail inside 
/catalog/pictures/
3. started MyFilms

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation.jpg is shown, but in a very low 
resolution.

Turns out that the 2 files inside \Thumbs\MyFilms\ThumbsCache\MyFilms_Movies

    Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation.jpg
    Plötzlich Prinzessin Compilation_s.jpg

are both the low res version.

For some reason, this only happens for the group/boxset covers. The normal 
covers are cached correctly.

After some investigation the root cause lies in MP1.4 itself, so the fix will 
have to be applied to MP.
