Would feature in Issue #390 meet your needs? Imho that is better because IMDB
Rank is constantly changing.

That is a list of the whole top250 of IMDB. I only want to see those of them
that are in my collection

Understood, and I generally agree that DB fields should exist in drop down
lists in Views, Display Options, AMCU etc.
I only worry that IMDb Rank tends to change quite often, AND if you get a movie
soon after it is released, it will rarely appear in a Top 250 view unless you
update that data regularly.

I agree to add it in the view DB field dropdown - but we tried to keep the
sortby field "simple" - users can still select that sort criteria in GUI and
store.
Wuld that be a working solution?

OK, that would be fine for me

I just tested that and it is already possible - using "show all" in the sortby
dialog.
Can you confirm and can we close this issue then?

I can confirm in build 3133 'IMDb Top List' appears in View by > *** Show All
*** BUT it also appears in Views dropdown. I don't see a commit changing that
so I'm confused.
But if z3us can confirm then yes the original issue is closed.
In AMCU and MF config field is named IMDB_Rank which is a bit confusing. I
assume that is due to field definition: <CustomField Tag="IMDB_Rank" Name="IMDB
Top list" .
I can't sort the view numerically, so it's not very useful. Does that have to
be changed in code or is there some way in Setup to select numeric sorting?
Of course in my catalog I have multiple/duplcate values (so 14 movies ranked as
#1) Don't ask me how that happened LOL!
