Thumbnail mode improvements

This PR addresses some fixes and improvements related to thumbnail mode:

• [x] fix cannot exit thumbnail mode in Linux (fixes #505)
• [x] add keyboard shortcut ctrl+t to toggle thumbnail mode
• [x] don't show duplicated entries in network hosts list of the thumbnail
