Custom Area Options only represent a fraction of the display #296

Overview

When I select a custom area, all the options either map to the whole workspace (the custom area would not be needed) or only a fraction in the middle of the workspace. I've tested that with two monitors or just one, the results are the same except that for the one monitor setup the custom area would not be necessary. I have also tried using a different resolution via my system settings, but the result stays the same. I've also tried using my laptop screen, which only has the lower resolution, with the same result. On multiple monitors by selecting some options from the custom area, the mapping only works in a straight line at the end of a monitor, depending on the system arrangement of the screens.

In Addition to that the names for the options sometimes don't match the functionality. I had the screen 0 option doing the full workspaces and vice versa.

The following Screenshot shows the maximal area I can use the stylus and mouse in using screen 0 and full screen.

Ah, perhaps this function needs some more explanation. Have you tried moving the popup window to the desired location for input?

I tried that and it works! Thank you. But the options provided in the dropdown might need better explaination through. The full screen option does the desired thing aka using the window as the border, but the screen 0 and 1 etc. map to the full set of monitors connected, just like without custom mapping.

I've also tried the virtual desktop and it works just fine, except that I can't see the cursor and therefore cannot resize the window. This is might be the same issue as in #271. But I can't see the cursor neither via web nor usb on actual monitors and virtual screen.

But I wanted to thank you for this wonderful application you've made.
