Monterey can startup normally, but it failed to recognize the mouse & keyboard(screen promote http://supoort.apple.com/macsetup), which can be found when boot, replaced with a wired mouse and keyboard, but still can not walk around this issue. did you even meet it before?

just found for nucui7 to install Monterey, still need to fix usb port mapping, add USBtoolbox & UTBMap ktext and disable XhciPortLimit option

So issue fixed? I think it's possible to use Ventura. I don't have the NUC longer, because this I can't try to look how it work. I only got green graphic output. Think I got the wrong framebuffers, don't know.

i don't know, because I don't have the nut longer. normally you need to patch it with OpenCore legacy patcher, after you set the fake cpu id in properties

Thank you for help, I manage to install, changed SMBIOS and manage to upgrade Monterey to Ventura But here what a issue after ~30sec it's freezing and restarting, not sure why...

Solution what help me:

For nuc6i7kyk

• I create USB
• Used EFI https://github.com/H3C4T0M8/Hackintosh-Intel-NUC6I7KYK-OpenCore/tree/main/OLD%20EFI%C2%B4s/OpenCore%200.8.6
• Used GenSMBIOS iMac18,3
• Disable Wifi (crashing after boot)

Problems:

• Minimalize Windows Cause a Freeze for a sec,
• Safari browser not work correct/White empty pages maybe issue with GPU

UPD: I used opencore legacy patcher for after patch and support gpu acceleration with -disablegfxfirmware

Not sure... but can you test a other smbios with USB Stick... I remember I got some different issues with different smbios settings.

I am happy that it work...I only got problems to get working Ventura acceleration... and now I gave the nuc to a friend.

In my case iGPU working but sometimes I have crash,

I used settings:

I think the crash come from hot cpu...have check it?

Not sure if CPU but will do more tests, Also when I do a xcode compile all work fine, this problem happened when open System Settings, possible issue with system update check/etc
