Tau value of Mann Kendall Test

nonparametric measure of the strength and direction in the correlation between two variables
tau values always between +/- 1.0
in general, the magnitude of tau is defined as
- +/- 0.10 - 0.19: weak correlation
- +/- 0.20 - 0.29: moderate correlation
- tau values > +/- 0.30: strong correlation

After linking all of the necessary directories, I was able to generate a complete wdm file!

I created a .RNMax file for a test land segment (A51175) using the following command:

LongTermAvgRNMax /opt/model/p53/p532_alex/input/unformatted/nldas2/harp2021/1984010100-2020123123 /opt/model/p53/p532_alex/input/unformatted/nldas2/harp2021/RNMax 1 A51175

And then created the complete wdm files using the following commands from the /opt/model/p53/p532_alex/code/src/prad_met directory:

./wdm_insert_ALL
A51175 nldas2 harp2021 1984010100-2020123123 1984 2020 1 1 1 1 1 1 1

I will now work on getting the RNMax files and wdm files generated for all the land segments

All of the land segments have their respective .RNMax files stored in the /opt/model/p53/p532_alex/input/unformatted/nldas2/harp2021/RNMax directory which is linked with /backup/meteorology/out/lseg_csv/RNMax directory!

The command I used to generate files for all the land segments was:
