Capture line break/carriage return for description at BSI Pipeline Report (Excel) [Irene] #27

Background: Currently, when data is exported from CRM to Excel, the text formatting (tab/enter) will not be captured. This causes description column at BSI Pipeline Report to look messy with only a single line of data.

Diagnosis: Standard CRM export will not keep text formatting, another method will be required to capture the formatting.

Completed:

  1. Introduced Jowell to use dynamic report that relies on .xml to fetch the records.
  2. This method will keep the text formatting.
  3. Modified some excel formula that did not handle the line break/carriage return/enter.
  4. Modified the cell formatting to wrap text and auto height increment to show multiple lines.
