Data seems to be miscalculating for subtrial distances when not full length and for velocity of short trials. Its almost like its calculating the distance from the endpoint of previous trial to startpoint of next trial from birds eye perspective

Looks like it is doing an additional unexplained behavior in the learning trials. Within trials total distance is accumulating (see example in excel sheet) across subtrials. This is in addition to this issue that Matt noted where it's adding the distance from the endpoint of the previous subtrial to the start point of the next subtrial. testing_distances.xlsx

Thanks! And to be clear, this did not occur in AMBI? That will make it easier for me to know where to look to fix the problem.

We just looked and turns out it was happening in AMBI! Sorry, I thought it didn't, but turns out I hadn't looked much at the Route Learning learning trials in AMBI for distance, so I only just noticed it now that I'm trying to use that to better understand the total distance variable
