fram^ is now looking for a Senior or Principal DevOps (big data) engineer to play a key role in developing the product of Europe’s fastest growing marketplace for e-commerce plugins.
In this role you need strong experience in Hadoop and Kafka with good understanding of big data and database structure (primarily NoSQL databases like MongoDB). As the team grows, you should help your team make good long term decisions, and support them with their technical challenges. You will be part of an international development organization with bases in Vietnam, Sweden and Singapore.
Requirements
• Good understanding of big data, high data loads and database structure
• Strong development with technology skills like Kafka, Hadoop, HDFS and Druid.
• Familiar with NoSQL databases (e.g MongoDB)
• Strong English communication skills (especially in writing)
• Very important candidate is able to write well-structured and maintainable code
• Great attention to details
• Independence, self-motivation, hunger to learn - ‘everything is possible’-mindset
Nice to have
• Experience from PHP development
• Experience from AWS and Docker
• Experience from Javascript - Node.JS, Express & Angular
