V3 merged readfiles pyfits #38

This version propagates the merged PR from myself (miriad.read_files) and Saul (change to img.py pyfits interface) into the v3 code. Mostly a trivial merge but there were a couple conflicts and a print statement to fix. To be merged into v3.
