Maybe do two tests here? One for cable reflection removal, one for crosstalk removal? Should be fairly straightforward to make the simulated data from the 2.1 data; if we're just using features of sigchain
to simulate reflections and crosstalk, then I could probably make these files from the 2.1 files relatively quickly, unless we need to take a more nuanced approach than a simple "apply the functions in sigchain
to the data from the RIMEz
sims".
Additionally, ramping up to a full end-to-end sim, do we want to have a final test in step 4 that has gains + cable reflections + crosstalk?
Having thought about it more -- it looks like both of these systematics are in 3.2 already. Do we really need to do anything more here? @jaguirre ?
