Suggest a new feature to be added.

Feature Description

How should it work?

Adds an additional button to hide objects. Like either option here, or both depending on settings. Additionally add a keybind?

What is its purpose?

To reduce the clicks necessary to hide objects to increase the speed of workflow.

I like this idea but feel it could be incorporated into #163 so it's not a 'one-off' extra button.

I agree though that it's currently a little convoluted to toggle the hidden state of an object.
