TS good JS bad so that's why we should do this. Multiple ppl can work on this given that this is a pretty big task

too vague - can we close for now? might be easier if we had a better plan for ts conversion not saying that convert as many as possible is a bad strategy, but we might want to have a little more detail otherwise i'm not sure when we should close out this ticket
