In one instance, a +thaw did not produce a +freeze message: Verena's +freeze/log shows a freeze in Dec 2010, but does not show the later +thaw in Feb 2011, only a blank entry for Wed Dec 31 17:00:00 1969 .
In another instance, Chime +froze a PC, then +thawed the PC. After the +thaw, the only entries were for 1969 (blank) and the thaw notice. Refreezing worked correctly, but the original freeze message and time are still missing.
Chime suspects a possible off-by-one, and suggests that +thaw may be damaging +freeze/log in some cases.
