Objective of work: -This work is part of feedback and providing ways for people to engage in policy and law and standards -To support learners on their journey to understand technology
Main idea: Develop a methodology for tech education focused on communities of women
Proposed activities Needs research -Finding out how people are using tech and what for. Understanding what learners would like to study. Use data to design training content
Pre-study program -This includes giving assignments/tests and discussing feedback with learners (eg reading articles on current tech-related issues and answering questions) share through email/whatsapp or teaching platform like google classroom depending on what is safe and convenient as a form of communication.
Trainings
-These can be virtual or in person. Small groups of up to 8 are better. Content covered comes from needs research examples of topics to teach: .routing internet exchanges, protocols, blocking, censorship online responsibility . . . .
