Feature Request & Extension Suggestion #6

Hi, thank you for this great extension.

If possible, add the ability to right-click on each post to open a new tab with the same name as the original file

Also, if possible, add a feature to download thumbnail previews of videos with the highest quality

I like to open each photo or video in a new tab and save it with the original name.

Hmmm, you can drag and drop photos/videos to new tab. It's gonna open default link respone from api and you can save with original name.

I knew that, but if there was an easier way, by putting a shortcut to quickly open in a new tab to save time

Also, is there any hope of putting the download preview thumbnails?

If I do that, I must be use another options to select images, because I use right click to select.

@MoonLightStorm Hey there, I just add new select multi image on Extension (click on Photos to toggle it) then you can left click to select just like how you select image on Facebook mobile. I will test some options and release version latter.

You can clone branch main and use that.

First of all, I apologize for my late reply. Because I am a busy person.

Second, thank you very much for adding this feature.

Third, I have a question for you? For several months, Instagram has been log out people who download from the website. And this happened to me once, when I opened photos in a new tab to save manually, my Insta got stuck and I was able to log in to the site after half an hour. Of course, this has nothing to do with your plugin, and users on reddit community and the greasy fork Script page say that the same thing happened to them. Script developer says that Insta has been tracking people with links for some time. I not downloaded directly for a few months now because of the fear of being banned, and I have been using Instagram Viewer and Downloader sites. Can they ban me by downloading again? And I think maybe in a few months they will be careless again and won't stop users from downloading.
