can't open a hpcviewer database for quicksilver on macos with 2022.06

Describe the bug I can open the following database on ufront, but not on macos using 2022.06:

ufront:/home/johnmc/bugs/hpctoolkit-qs-gpu-cuda-pc.d

Expected behavior You should be able to open it anywhere!

What was the error message? Did it crash? I cannot reproduce it. It works with me.
