Title: .NET 8 Comes Out Today: What I Am Excited About

Abstract: .NET 8 comes out today, with a slew of new and improved things for .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and more. We're going to dive in to some of the things that I am most excited about for .NET that .NET 8 is bringing. We'll look at a few things that C# 12 is adding to make writing code easier, new features in ASP.NET for Blazor like Streaming Rendering, NativeAOT for performance, and how .NET itself is using some of these features.

Bio: Kevin Jones is a Product Security Engineer at GitHub. He's been using .NET for over 20 years, and now helps maintain cryptography for .NET itself.
