In case you are interested in my request #60, this add also the relative *.xpi file which should be added as release (see image below). This request substitute and expand the other one.
Note that:
adding the *.xpi file as release everyone can install this add-on directly from Komodo, via Tools > Add-ons, without worry about build the *.xpi;
because of 1., it's no longer necessary Makefile (see my comment at #50);
even the *.xpi file can be removed from the source code, if it has been added as release
